About Us
Vision
PrimaDonna, Inc. is a non-profit youth organization that strives to promote hope, love, and self-sufficiency in the minds of young girls. Our focus is to reach out to girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas, and show them an alternate way of living and loving their lives. Currently, we are in the process of starting our fundraising activities to help bring revenue to young girls applying to summer enrichment programs in education, music and the arts. PrimaDonna, Inc. is determined to prepare our girls to become independent leaders in today's everchanging modern society.

Objective

PrimaDonna, Inc. will provide underprivileged, overlooked female youth with exposure to activities and experiences otherwise not available to them without any outside interventions.
Our Colors...Why Black, Pink and White?
Black-is one of the four sacred colors in most cultures and represents introspection and self-examination. In Japan, women are deemed a threat and are associated with the color black because to them it represents mystery, femininity and power.
Pink-Not commonly associated with the sacred colors, represents youthfulness, creativity and hard work. It is a blend of the sacred red and white---red representing blood and success; White-Representing peace, purity and happiness.
So our colors represent: Self examination, power, youthfulness, creativity and hard work! PrimaDonna lives all of those words to the fullest. We represent powerful, youthful, creative women that aren’t afraid or ashamed to exhibit hard work and self-examination in order to succeed.
[From the Executive Director:
Imari Olliver Norris ]
I created PrimaDonna, Inc. with the determination to help women and young girls find alternate activities that can keep them motivated to achieve the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency. I was blessed with a two-parent home and a wonderful family and know that not all people experience the same, but I am hoping that my organization will prove to those females in single-parent homes and single mothers that your situation does not define who you are, but instead fertilizes who you are destined to become.
"I ain’t gotta get a plaque, I ain’t gotta get awards. I just walk up out the door all the girls will applaud...all the girls will come in, as long as they understand, that i’m fighting for the girls, that never thought they could win! 'Cause before they could begin, you told’em it was the end! But I am here to reverse the curse that they live in!" ~Nicki Minaj
